Arrival in Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam, or Paris, followed by a connecting flight to Istanbul. You will be met by a member of our team and transferred to the hotel. Time to rest or enjoy some free time. Overnight stay.

Day 3: (Monday) ISTANBUL

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day with the option to join a full-day optional excursion with lunch, “THE OTTOMAN JEWELS.” We’ll start our day by exploring Sultanahmet Square, where the Blue Mosque will amaze us with its stunning tiles. We’ll continue on to the Roman Hippodrome, the former site of sporting and political events during the Byzantine era. Next, we’ll admire the majestic Hagia Sophia from the outside—a monument that has witnessed centuries of history and has been transformed from a church into a mosque. We’ll continue to a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch, where you’ll sample typical Turkish dishes. Later, the Grand Bazaar will tempt us with its thousands of shops and treasures waiting to be discovered. After a day full of exploration and experiences, we’ll return to the hotel, taking with us unforgettable memories of Istanbul. Overnight stay.

Day 4: (Tuesday) ISTANBUL - ANKARA - CAPPADOCIA

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we bid farewell to Istanbul and head to Cappadocia, one of Turkey’s most fascinating regions. Along the way, we’ll make two notable stops. The first will be in Ankara, where we’ll visit the Mausoleum of Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, to pay tribute to his historical legacy. Then, we’ll continue on to the impressive Salt Lake, one of the largest salt lakes in the world. You’ll have the chance to walk on its sparkling salt waters and admire its unique beauty. After these enriching experiences, we’ll continue our journey to magical Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: (Wednesday) CAPADOCIA

At dawn, we can take an optional hot-air balloon ride to fly over the “Fairy Chimneys.” The surreal landscapes will captivate your senses.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we’ll venture into the marvelous region of Cappadocia, where rocks carved over centuries whisper secret stories to the wind, as we begin our magical journey. Ortahisar Castle, a fortress carved into the rock, stands as a beacon of history. Next, Güvercinlik Valley, where cliffs cradle doves in their niches, immerses us in timeless beauty. Uçhisar Castle, touching the sky with its stone spires, reveals views that awaken dreams. Devrent Valley, the "Valley of Imagination," awakens the imagination with whimsical rock formations; the rocks seem to have been sculpted by fairies. Love Valley, where love intertwines in every corner, envelops us in its romantic reverie. Amid these wonders, we’ll visit carpet and onyx workshops, where craftsmanship tells ancient stories. This day is a living poem, a symphony of rocks and dreams that etches itself into the soul, where the magic and culture of Cappadocia embrace us at every turn. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: (Thursday) CAPADOCIA - PAMUKKALE

Breakfast at the hotel. We head to Pamukkale, known for its travertine terraces and the ancient ruins of Hierapolis. Upon arrival, we’ll explore Hierapolis, an ancient city that served as an important thermal spa center during Roman times. We’ll admire the well-preserved ruins, including the Roman theater, the Gate of Domitian, and the famous Cleopatra Pools. Free time to enjoy the natural pools of Pamukkale. Then, we’ll arrive at our hotel in Pamukkale, where you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the facilities and relax. You can take a dip in the hotel’s thermal pools or simply rest and recharge before continuing our journey. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: (Friday) PAMUKKALE - EPHESUS – KUSADASI/IZMIR

Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will immerse ourselves in rich history and spirituality as we visit two extraordinary sites. We will begin in Ephesus, an ancient Roman city that was once one of the most important cultural and commercial centers of the ancient world. Here, we will explore its well-preserved ruins, including the theater, the Library of Celsus, and the Temple of Artemis, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Next, we’ll head to the House of the Virgin Mary, a pilgrimage site for people of all faiths, where it is believed the Virgin Mary spent her final years. This sacred place exudes a spiritual peace that touches the hearts of visitors. We’ll also stop at a leather workshop. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8: (Saturday) KUSADASI/IZMIR - PATMOS (CRUISE)

Breakfast, followed by a morning transfer to the port to board a cruise ship, where you will enjoy full board with limited beverages over the next few days. At the scheduled time, we will set sail for the small island of Patmos, a place of pilgrimage, especially for Orthodox Christians. We will disembark via motorboats (weather permitting). We recommend visiting the Monastery-Fortress of St. John, the Library, the Archives, and the Grotto of the Apocalypse. Or, if you prefer, you can enjoy the beach. Return to the ship. Accommodation and dinner.

Day 9: (Sunday) CRETE (HERAKLION) - SANTORINI (CRUISE)

Full board on board. Arrival on the island of Crete at 7:00 a.m. Disembarkation in Heraklion, the capital of Crete, with time to stroll through its streets. Optionally, we will visit the Minoan Palace of Knossos, one of the most important sites of the Minoan civilization. Return to the pier. We set sail for the beautiful island of Santorini. Disembarkation by motorboat (weather permitting). Time to stroll through its narrow streets and enjoy the breathtaking views. At the designated time, return to the ship. Accommodation and dinner.

Day 10: (Monday) ATHENS (LAVRION) - MYKONOS (CRUISE)

Full board on board. Arrival and disembarkation in Athens. Lavrion, near Athens, is a historic port with a rich mining heritage. Explore the Mineralogical Museum, which showcases unique minerals and the region’s mining history. Stroll through the bustling port, a testament to the link between ancient history and modernity. Board the ship and travel to the famous island of Mykonos, known as the ultimate party destination. Time to wander its streets, enjoy its cuisine, and take photos. At the appointed time, return to the ship. Accommodation and dinner.

Day 11: (Tuesday) KUSADASI - BURSA - ISTANBUL

After breakfast, disembark in Kusadasi at 7:00 a.m. Departure for Bursa, the first capital of the Ottoman Empire. Visit the Green Mosque and the Green Tomb, followed by a stroll through the Silk Bazaar. We will then continue to Istanbul, crossing the Gulf of Izmit either by ferry or via the new bridge connecting both shores of the Sea of Marmara. Arrival at the hotel. Overnight stay. “If there are not enough passengers, the leg between Kusadasi and Istanbul will be by plane; in this case, the visit to Bursa will not be possible.”

Day 12: (Wednesday) ISTANBUL

Breakfast at the hotel. Free day with the option to join the optional full-day excursion with lunch, “THE COLORS OF ISTANBUL.” Visit the historic Eyüp Mosque, an important Muslim pilgrimage site located near the Golden Horn, built in the 15th century. From there, we’ll head to the old Jewish quarter of Balat. We’ll stroll through its charming cobblestone streets, lined with colorful wooden houses and vibrant antique shops. Next, we’ll walk to the nearby Greek quarter of Fener. This picturesque neighborhood is known for its Orthodox churches, notably the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. We’ll explore the streets steeped in history and admire the Byzantine architecture that characterizes this area. We’ll enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we’ll visit the famous Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar). This vibrant market is a feast for the senses, with its stalls overflowing with spices, sweets, nuts, and a wide variety of local products. To round out our day, we’ll embark on a relaxing boat ride along the Bosphorus, the strait that divides the city between Europe and Asia, enjoying the wonderful views of the Ottoman fortresses, palaces, villas, and the bridges connecting both sides of this vibrant city. IMPORTANT NOTES:

1.The order of the itinerary may be changed without prior notice depending on the specific day of the cruise or tour, guide availability, and monument closing days, provided that all scheduled visits are maintained.

2.Additional PCR tests may be required at each destination; this decision is at the discretion of each government, and Viva Vacations has no influence over these measures

3.Missing a flight will immediately result in the cancellation of all flights included in the same reservation. (no-show)

4.In order to activate the cancellation insurance, once the deposit has been paid, assistance cards will be issued; these cards are non-refundable under any circumstances. If, as an exception, a refund is approved, the retail value of the cards will be deducted, and the remaining amount will be issued to the cardholder for their use.

9.To facilitate the collection of this tax for your upcoming cruise and for your guest(s), and to avoid lengthy check-in procedures, Celestyal will collect the applicable local government taxes, based on the ports of disembarkation for all guests, at the time of check-out. This will be calculated based on the passenger embarkation/disembarkation manifest at each Greek port and added to each guest’s final bill the night before disembarkation. Since this is not a charge by Celestyal but a mandatory levy by the Greek authorities, we collect the payments on their behalf as required by applicable law.

We have been informed that the new port tax will be applied as follows:

From July 1 to September 30: €20 per person for each visit to Santorini and Mykonos; €5 per person for all other Greek ports.

From October 1 to 31 and from April 1 to May 31: €12 per person for Santorini and Mykonos; €3 per person for all other ports.

From November 1 to March 31: €4 per person for Santorini and Mykonos; €1 per person for all other ports.
